My Answer:
One of my favorite book characters is Catherine Ling by Iris Johansen. She is a kick ass heroine who doesn't know how beautiful she is and has a hot, sexy and deadly hero panting after her.
Another of my favorite book characters are Zarek from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series and Zsadist from J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood. Both are bad ass sexy heroes with attitude who treat their women with care.
